September 2, 2011 - Harry J. Loveless died Friday, September 2, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne,
PA. He was 92. Born in Lawrenceville, a son of Roy and Helen Loveless, Mr. Loveless has been a longtime resident
of East Amwell Township. He was a retired postmaster for Princeton University, a member of the American Legion Post
414, VFW Post 3022, member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 700, 7th Armored Division Association and the
East Amwell Senior Citizens Club. In 1944 while serving under General Patton in the European Theater, he was combat
wounded near Chartres in northern France. Surviving him are his wife of 67 years, Marie Bregenzer Loveless; sons David
Loveless and his wife Ruth Ann, Richard Loveless and his wife Dee; daughter Helene Botos; grandchildren Sherry (Andy) Brackenbury
and Kim (Stacy) Walser; great-grandchildren Ryan and Sara Walser; his brother Nicholas Loveless; and sister Valeria Mahan.
May 6, 2011 - George W. Wyker, III, age 80, died May 6, 2011 in Hackettstown Regional
Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. He is the son of the late George W. Jr. and Louise (Emery) Wyker. George is
survived by his beloved wife, Georgene, at home and his loving dachshund, Rocky. He is also survived by a daughter,
Kim and her husband Bob Smith of Hackettstown, son Greg Wyker of Hackettstown, son Jeff Wyker and his wife Mindy of Hackettstown,
and daughter Jacki, and her husband Gordon Ceaser. Along with sisters Katherine Carvatt of Wyckoff, NJ and Barbara
Lewis of Texas; brothers Clement of Oxford, NJ; Jack of Alpha, NJ; and Robert of Hackettstown. His surviving grandchildren
are Christopher Maxwell and his wife Colleen and great-granddaughter Kelsey; Stephen Wyker; Michael Wyker; Amanda Maxwell
and her fiance Adam Duckworth. George was predeceased by his brother, Edward Wyker. George drove tractor trailer
for 54 years and his last employer was Superior Carriers of Oakbrook, IL. George served in the Army as a Private
during the Korean War. He was wounded on December 25, 1952 and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained
during battle. He is also the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal with Bronze
Star, Combat Infantryman Badge 1st award, United Nations Service Medal, the NJ Distinguished Service Medal and the Warren
County Distinguished Service Medal. George was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 700, along
with his daughter Jacki; the American Legion Post 164; the Joyce Kilmer Knights of Columbus; the Korean War Veterans;
the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor; and was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain R.C. Church. He was also a member
of the American Truck Historical Society; Disabled American Veterans; and volunteered for the Tri-County Fire Company for
29 years as a non-member.
April 28, 2011 - William J. Hickey, 88, a resident
of Hackettstown for most of his life, died April 28, 2011 at his home after a long illness. Born January 31, 1923 in
Bally Desmond, Ireland, he was a son of the late Andrew Hickey and Hanna Connelly. Mr. Hickey was a retired accounting
clerk for the Army Corps of Engineers at Caven Point in Jersey City. An Army veteran of World War II, he served from
1943-46 and received the Purple Heart for which he was greatly proud of. He was a member of the Military Order of the
Purple Heart in Washington; American Legion, Blue Ridge Post 164 in Hackettstown; and the Church of the Assumption in Hackettstown.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Malon Hickey; two sons, Patrick and wife Kathleen of Torrington, CT, and William and wife Lori
of Kinnelon; a daughter, patricial Hickey and husband Larry Darnell of Schwenksville, PA; and four grandchildren, Shawn, Michael,
Daniel and Alex. A funeral Mass was held May 2 at the Church of the Assumption with Father David Pekola officiating.
Interment was in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Washington Township (Morris County).

August 22, 2010 - Joseph M. Moll,
Jr., 88, of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Sunday August 22, 2010 at Abington Manor in Easton, PA, surrounded
by his loving family. Born: March 20, 1922 in Newark, NJ, he was a son of the late Joseph M. and Irene Moll, Sr. Personal:
Joseph lived in Holland Township, NJ for many years. He served in the Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He served mainly
in the Pacific Theatre and earned the Silver Star for his bravery as well as several bronze stars and two purple hearts. Joseph
was proud to have been aboard the USS Nicholas, accompanying the USS Missouri during the formal surrender ceremony of the
Imperial Japanese Forces on September 2, 1945. Joseph worked for the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 19 in Allentown, PA for
many years before retiring. He enjoyed the Jersey Shore, deep sea fishing and boating. Joe will be dearly missed by his loving
family. Memberships: He was a member of the Glen Gardner VFW, Frenchtown American Legion, Rieglesville American Legion, the
Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Farmer Sportsmans Club in Holland Township. Survivors: Joseph is survived by his
beloved wife, Virginia S. Hillard Moll; two sons, Joseph M. Moll, III and his wife Donna of Easton, and Jon E. Moll of Holland
Township, NJ; a brother, James Moll of Mountain Lake, NJ; two grandchildren, Joseph IV and Amber. He was predeceased by his
brother, Jack Moll.
