I need your help to see that house Bill 2415, "the Homefront
Heroes Highway" having passed the PA House now sits in the PA Senate. Please contact the following legislators to request
their immediate support for passage of the bill and perhaps print this for all VBOB members (and all other veterans groups)
to help and pass along to family and friends. This "new highway" to be will honor all who served "at home"
during WWII and appropriately will
begin at the south end of Route 191 leaving Bangor where during WWII the community produced
the "Homefront Magazine"...a truly one of a kind magazine sent to all area servicemen and women.

Senator
Pat Brown (610) 821-8468 (717) 787-1349
I need to get Senator Brown's email address and will forward that too.
Also, I have ben quietly
obtaining the pins and buttons of WWII when I first began this quest, again through Representative Rich Grucela, in order
to do some displaying with the passage and future talks, etc.
Any of you, family or friends who are able and willing
to donate to me such pins and buttons will be greatly appreciated and of course they will be available for display at all
the groups I am reaching out to. Thanks. Let's get this bill passed before Rich Grucela retires in December. We have him
to thank for our "Battle of the Bulge Highway" also.
Bob Faro
P.S. Next I want all heads together to honor our WWII Submariners, something I have been working on for several years buy
naming anything in the water is next to impossible so put your thinking caps on.
Here's
the update on the highway. We need to contact Assemblyman Wisniewski, he's the Chairman of the Transportation, Public
Works & Independent Authorities. It's his responsibility to get our bill, A-2121 on the Assembly House Agenda, so
it can be voted on by the assembly. Once passed it will go before Gov. Christie for his signing. You can contact him by phone
#732-432-8460, Address: 132 Main St. Suite A, Sayerville, NJ. 08872 or E-mail: AsmWisniewski@njleg.org. As Chapter 700 Members,
please let Assemblyman Wisniewski know how important this bill is to us, by contacting his office and asking to have this
Bill A-2121, placed on the Assembly's Agenda & brought up for vote. The wheels of goverment turn slowly and we have
been working on this project for over 3 years, so you may have to contact assemblyman's office several times, before we're
heard. So we have to let him know who we are, Chapter 700, Military Order of the Purple Heart, New Jersery, United States
of America. "Combat Wounded Veterans".
